Mary Patek

Mary A. Patek age 66 Of Moulton, Texas passed away August 31, 2015. Mary was born on November 24, 1948 in Shiner, Texas. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Lions Club and The Catholic Daughters. Mary and her husband Ervin were co-owners of Patek's Grocery in Moulton for more than 35 years until they retired. Mary continued to manage the accounting for the Storage Stop that she and Ervin owned. Mary is preceded in death by 2 brother-in-laws-Marvin Patek and Daniel Fojtik and father and mother-in-law-Victor and Annie Patek. Survivors: husband-Ervin Patek of Moulton, parents- Willie and Mildred Pilat of Moulton, 1 son-Matt Patek and wife Stephanie of Moulton, 1 daughter- Ann Patek and fiance' Jacob Heller of Victoria, 1 brother-Calvin Pilat of Moulton and 1 sister-Margie Firasek of Rosenberg, 3 grand-children-Tyler Heller , Abryn and Ryen Patek. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home follow by a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 4, 2015 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
