Mauricia Estrada, 60, of Flatonia, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Oak Manor Nursing Center in Flatonia, Texas. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, Texas and will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, Texas with Father Edward Winkler officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, Texas Mauricia was born on October 21, 1954 in Lubbock, Texas. She was the daughter of Ricardo and Pilar (Montoya) Cedillo, Sr. She married Lawrence Estrada on June 1, 1972 in Waelder, Texas. Mauricia liked to go shopping, spending time with her grand-children. She was a huge fan of Elvis, liked collecting dolls and going to garage sales for "trinkets". Mauricia is survived by her husband; Lawrence Estrada, three daughters; Leticia Estrada Flores of Houston, Texas, Olivia Estrada of Houston, Texas, Cassandra Estrada Mica of Flatonia, Texas, Two grandsons, Zachary Mica, Hunter Mica, two granddaughters; Selena Flores, Lyla Flores, one family pet; Fancy, six brothers; Ricardo Cedillo, Jr. of Waelder, Texas, Nasario Cedillo and his wife, Tina of Houston, Texas, Felix Cedillo and his wife, Ofelia of Sugar Land, Texas, Pete Cedillo of Waelder, Texas, Daniel Cedillo and his wife, Norma of Waelder, Texas, Cruz Cedillo and his wife, Linda of Waelder, Texas, four sisters; Ofelia Tristan of Waelder, Texas, Alice Rincon and her husband, Joe of Waelder, Texas, Maria Cedillo and her husband, Danny Rincon, Sally Cedillo of Waelder, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers for Mrs. Estrada will be PJ Robledo, Andy Estrada, Brandon Eglin, Danny Ray Cedillo, Steven Hernandez, and Jimmy Cedillo. Honorary pallbearer will be Diego Sustaita.
