Minnie Johnson

.Mrs. Minnie Frye Johnson, age 81, of Kerrville, TX, formally of Flatonia, TX, passed away August 4, 2014 in Kerrville. Minnie was born on November 2, 1932 in Harrah, Oklahoma to the late Frank P. and Inez Hale Frye. She was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church, the Pleasanton First Baptist Church, and the Kickapoo Indian Tribe. She is preceded in death by son, Carl William Johnson; brother, Woppie; and sister, Mamie. Pallbearers: Robert and Lisa Johnson, Mike Wilson, Bryan Wilson, and Julie and Lance Gasch. Minnie is survived by her husband, Robert C. Johnson Jr. of Kerrville, TX; daughter, Velma and husband Mike Wilson of Kerrville, TX; son, Robert W. and wife Lisa Johnson of Emerald Isle, NC; five grandchildren: Julie, Bryan, Whitney, Ashly and Jena; and 6 great grandchildren: Emery, Aubrey, Olivia, Brayden, Braddock, and Addison. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Service will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Elm Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Hoyt Hunnicutt officiating.
