George Charles Stavinoha age 78 of Flatonia passed away November 13, 2007. He was born February 21, 1929 in Moulton to the late Charles and Mary Michalec Stavinoha. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and an Honorary Member of the Flatonia Fire Department. George was the owner of George's Processing for 25 years. Survived by his wife Anita Jemelka Stavinoha of Flatonia, 3 sons, Emil and wife Margaret Stavinoha of Wharton, Donald and wife Diana Stavinoha of Weimar and Dean and wife Jyl Stavinoha of Flatonia. 6 Grandchildren, Wendi Stavinoha Acosta, Shelly, Nicole, Macy, Emil Jr. and Glen Stavinoha and 7 Great Grandchildren, Alexis, Israel, Ilianna and Analise Acosta, Izak Marruffo, Dyanni and Jackson Castro . He is preceded by his Parents and 2 brothers Julius Stavinoha and Kenward Stavinoha. Visitation begins November 15, 2007, 7:30 AM and rosary 7:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home Flatonia. Services will be 10:00AM November 16, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating.
