HOUSTON - Henry E. Melchor, 64, of Houston and formerly of Waelder, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004.
He was born Nov. 24, 1939, to the late Ysabel and Concepcion Hernandez Melchor. He was a retail salesman and a Catholic.
Survivors: sisters, Polly Vargas of Katy, Narcy Delgado and Mary Gutierrez, both of Defiance, Ohio, Louisa Lopez of Waelder, and Martha Melchor and Margaret Melchor, both of Houston; brothers, Joe Melchor of Paulding, Ohio, Eulogio Melchor, Oscar Melchor, and Sam Melchor, all of Waelder, and Alonzo Melchor of Houston.
Preceded in death by: brother, Ysabel Melchor Jr.
A rosary was recited Tuesday at the funeral home.
Services were held Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waelder.
Burial was at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
