MOULTON - Hubert Wenske, 80, of Moulton, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006 in Yoakum.
He was born Nov. 9, 1925, in Moulton to the late Theodore and Agnes Pilsner Wenske. He was a World War II veteran, member of KOFC Post 3244 and VFW Post 6971, and a Catholic.
Survivors: wife, Christina Wenske; daughters, Rosie Novosad of Edna and Diana Stavinoha of Weimer; sons, Charles Wenske of Ganado, and Bobby Wenske of Victoria; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: sister, Marie Jahn; and brothers, Bruno Wenske and Roman Wenske and son Joseph Wenske.
Visitation will be 1-9 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Thursday night at the chapel.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home, Moulton, 361-596-4631.
Pallbearers: Brian Wenske, Jeremy Wenske, Jamie Wenske, Tyler Wenske, Travis Wenske, Shane Wenske.
