Mr.Jim Kubicek

Mr. Jim L. Kubicek , of Moulton, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the age of 75. He was born to the late Jim M. and Mary (Schoenfeld) Kubicek in Hillje, Texas, November 13, 1934. Jim retired from the Moulton Independent School District where he worked for 23 years. He was a member of The Moulton Fire Department, Moulton Knight's of Columbus Council #3244, Knight's of Columbus 4th Degree Council # 1128, KJT and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Jim is survived by his wife Evelyn Holocher Kubicek of Moulton, two daughters - Sharon Etlinger and husband August (Boyce) of Moulton; Margaret Klekar and husband Robert of Hallettsville. One brother Pat Kubicek of Moulton, four grandchildren: Angela Etlinger Rabel, Amanda Etlinger Turlington, Brandon Klekar, and Cherise Klekar, four great-grandchildren: Emily Rabel, Annie Rabel, Delaney Turlington, and Dalton Turlington. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Rosalie Kubicek, one son - John Kubicek, and one brother - Eugene Kubicek Visitation for family and friends will begin Friday, July 16, 2010 at 7:30 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel - Moulton. Rosary will be Friday, July 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Moulton, funeral services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. St. Joseph Catholic Church - Moulton and burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
