Kirby Lee Wagner age 76 of Flatonia passed away May 15, 2008. He was born May 1, 1932 in Moulton to the late Frank and Adlea Leona Wagner Albrecht. Kirby was a U.S. Army Veteran, 101st Airborne, served in Korea. He was employeed by Smith Farms/ Cal Maine for 49 years. Kirby is survived by children Mary Hancock & husband Don of Victoria, Cynthia Whisenant & husband Warren of Miami, FL., Robert & wife Laurie Angerstein of Cuero, James Angerstein of Victoria, Kay Angerstein Vigus & husband Ray of Cuero, brother Calvin Albrecht & wife Jeanette of Hallettsville, 15 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded by his Parents, wife Cathy (June 8, 2007), son Richard Angerstein, brother Herbert Albrecht and sister Pauline Dierschke. Visitation begins 7:30 AM, May 18, 2008 with Rosary at 7PM at Smith Funeral Home Chapel Flatonia. Services will be 10AM, May 19, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church Moulton with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery Flatonia. Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating. Pallbearers will be Krystal Hancock Flores, Hannah Hancock, Ashley Hancock Soto, Heather Hancock, Ric Naylor, Dustin Angerstein, Jason Angerstein, Travis Whisenant, Trent Whisenant,, Terry Naylor, Lacey Naylor, Megan Angerstein, Brittany Angerstein, Amber Angerstein, Lauren Whisenant and. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hayden Flores, Kyleigh Flores, C.J. Soto Jr. and SGT Jeffrey Thomas Flores, U.S. Army 2-1 Aviation Charlie Company, serving in Iraq.
