Mr.Mark Fajkus

Mark Frank Fajkus of Katy passed away January 30, 2011 at the age of 64. He was born June 18, 1946 in Shiner to the late Joseph and Agnes Marie (Stryk) Fajkus. Mr. Fajkus retired from General Welding in Houston where he worked as Chief Financial Officer for 40 year. Mr. Fajkus is survived by his wife; Alice (Bacak) Fajkus of Katy, three daughters; Tamara Denise Fajkus of Katy, Terri DeAnn Yeates and husband Scott of Katy and Traci Danielle Fajkus of The Woodlands, four brothers; Johnny Fajkus of Fresno, Bobby Fajkus of Victoria, Dennis Fajkus of Houston and Kenneth Fajkus of Tomball, and two sisters; Dorothy Jasek of Houston and Earlene Patek of Sweet Home. Also surviving Mr. Fajkus are six grandchildren; Clayton Yeates, Jillian Yeates and Bejamin Yeates, and Hannah Mateja, Elizabeth Mateja and Sarah Mateja. Mr. Fajkus is preceded in death by his parents, one son; Anthony Wayne Fajkus, one brother-in-law; J.J. Jasek and one sister-in-law; Shirley Fajkus. Visitation will be 10:00 am Friday, February 4, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Rosary will be 9:30 am Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia with Rev. Joe Hybner officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia.
