Mrs. Betty Wulf, age 57, of Cistern passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010. She was born in Shiner, Texas on September 30, 1952, to the late Edward and Joyce Brunner Vinklarek. Betty was the Billing Transmission Supervisor for LCRA, where she worked for 36 years. Betty's most cherished role was that of being a loving wife, mother, and Nana. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Johnnie Wulf; daughter, Dawn Guzman and husband Wayne of Cistern; four brothers, Robert Vinklarek, Donnie Vinklarek, and Ronnie Vinklarek of Cistern, and Mark Vinklarek of LaGrange; three sisters, Catherine Steinhauser of Flatonia, Suzanne Williams and Pam Marrs, both of Smithville; three grandchildren, Payton, Parker and Colby Guzman; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation for friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern and burial will follow at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Susan G.
