Emily Mary Boehm, 89, went to be with Jesus Sunday, September 9, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Hugo, her mother and father, Fred and Albina Pilat, her sister Elenora Krejci, and her granddaughter, Terry Boehm. Emily is survived by her sisters Estella Stavinoha, Ethel Darilek and husband Mike; son Hugo Boehm Jr. and wife Carol; grandchildren Cheryl Siens and husband Jerry, Scott Boehm and wife Stacy, Stacey Boehm and wife Sarah, Angel Davis and husband Landon; great-grandchildren Jennifer Stringer and husband Jeremy, Katie Lanclos and husband Brant, Holly and Emily Siens, Justin and Cody Boehm, Hailey Boehm, Kyle and Betty Davis; great-great-grandchildren Toby, Keenan and Judah Stringer; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Emily was born in Moulton, Texas on October 25, 1917 to Fred and Albina Pilat. She married Hugo Boehm on September 10, 1935. When they moved their family to San Antonio in 1942, Emily went to work for Rath Packing Company where she was employed for over 40 years. During her retirement she loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Emily had a servant's heart and loved taking care of her family. She was a precious and loving mom, grandma, sister, and friend who was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon Friday, September 14, 2007 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Services: 10 am Saturday, September 15, 2007 St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton with Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial to follow in the Catholic Cemetery.
