Mrs.Katy Gary

Mrs. Katy Gary age 63 of Flatonia passed away August 2, 2007. She was born July 17, 1944 to the late James and Laura (Ellis) Purcell. She is survived by her husband Harold Gary of Flatonia, son James Todd Gary and wife Jodie of Bryan, daughter Mylinda Zapata and husband Robert of San Marcus, brother Jimmy Wayne Purcell of Killeen, grand daughters Hilary Gary and Erin Zapata, grand sons Noel Zapata, Weston Gary and Iain Gary. Preceded by her Parents. Visitation began Sunday, August 5, 2007, 3:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home Flatonia. Services were Monday, August 6, 2007, 10:00 AM at Flatonia Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Rowell and Rev. Sue Huntsman officiating Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery Flatonia. Pallbearers were Donald Maeker, Douglas Mach, Herbert Mann, Ira Syler Jr., Robert Ettlinger, Hugo Wehmeyer Jr., Freddie Williams and Richard Steinhauser.
