Teresa Gayle Austin age 50 of Flatonia passed away July 30, 2008. She was born December 9, 1957 in Bay City .
Teresa was employed with GTE(Verizon) as a Customer Representative.
She is survived by her husband Richard L. Austin of Flatonia, mother Ruth Verdene Black of Flatonia, sons Justin B. Austin of California, David O. and wife Jennifer Austin of Virginia Beach, Virginia, brother Donnie Black of Arkansas, sister Kay Potter of California, six grandchildren Brandon, Alice, Devin, Trenton, Cameron and Camdon Austin.
She is preceded by her father Thomas Almaurice Black and a brother Ronnie Black.
Visitation will begin August 1, 2008 at 11 AM at Smith Funeral Home Flatonia. Services will be 10 AM, August 2, 2008 at Flatonia Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Rowell officiating. Cremation and Burial will follow at a later time.
Pallbearers will be Pat Brown, Roger Black, Randy Black, Randy Black Jr., Keith Bodine and Roger Black Jr.
Memorial Donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Flatonia Baptist Church Building Fund.
