.FLATONIA - William "Bill" Miller, 80, of Flatonia, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006.

He was born Oct. 28, 1925, in Flatonia, to the late William Edward Sr. and Gladys Irene Lee Miller. He was a self-employed electrician, a ham operator, an advanced amateur radio operator station privilege-primary, and a Methodist. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion.

Survivors: wife, Louvenia Johnson Miller; daughters, Linda Calverley of Palestine and Sally Goelz of Humble; sons, David Miller and Mark Miller, both of Flatonia; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: sister, Doris Jean Luerssen.

Services were held Monday at Smith Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Camille Bryant officiating. Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia, 361-865-3311.
