Nawasa Parson

Mrs. Nawasa Lafferty age 68 of Flatonia passed away June 7, 2013. Nawasa was born December 6, 1944 in Gorman, Texas to the late Joe Allen Parson and Brentice Elizabeth Smith Parson. She was a corporate legal secretary before she retired and a member of the Flatonia United Methodist Church. Survivors: husband- Franklin H. Lafferty of Flatonia, one son and daughter in law-Bradley and Mary Lafferty of Spring, one daughter and son in law-Stephanie and Greg Adair of McLean, two brothers-Gabriel and wife Cozy Parson of McLean, Allen and wife Estella Parson of Herford, three grand children- Kayla Adair, Emma and James Lafferty. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Monday, June 10, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home-Flatonia. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Flatonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Clopton officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
