Nieves Valle

Nieves Maria Valle of Waelder passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the age of 67. She was born August 5, 1944 to the late Eutiquio Carmona and Isidora Martinez in Waelder. She is survived by seven daughters, Stephanie Valle of Waelder, Irene Benavides of Ratcliff, Sandra Benavides of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Paula Waters of Ratcliff, Barbara Medina of San Antonio, Brenda Burran of Kennard and Dora Ortega of Houston; two sisters, Epifania Valdez of Post and Bessie Bravo of Houston; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Andres Carmona, and Husband, Billy Joe Dowdy. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, January 13, 2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waelder with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Burial will follow in the Community cemetery in Waelder.
