Pedro Rodriguez

Pedro Rodriguez, age 76 of Weimar, Texas, passed away May 19, 2018. Pedro was born in Gonzales, Texas on October 22, 1941 to the late Pedro Rodriguez Sr. and Helen Nava Rodriguez. He was a retired pipefitter in the Oil Industry. Pedro is preceded in death by his wife Rita Resendez Rodriguez on April 24, 2000, one infant brother and one sister. He is survived by three sons-Anthony Rodriguez of Houston, Pete Rodriguez of Austin and Joseph Rodriguez and spouse-Scott Wille of Austin, two daughters-Alice Molina and husband John of Houston and Maribel Rodriguez of Pasadena, one brother-Juan Rodriguez of Houston, 8 sisters-Frances Ramirez of Houston, Toni Castro of Moulton, Maria Ramirez of Gonzales, Dora Ramirez of Gonzales, Oralee Ramirez of Waelder, Hortensia Rosas of Schulenburg, Lupe Schultz of Moulton and Connie Rosas of Weimar and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will start at 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2018 followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waelder with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Burial will follow in the Waelder Community Cemetery.
