Rickie Lee Osburn, Sr.

December 4, 1952 — February 20, 2025

Moulton

Rickie Lee Osburn, Sr., known to many as “Big Rick,” was born December 4, 1952, in Memphis, Texas to parents B.B. “Rabbit” and Ella Trojacek Osburn. He passed away surrounded by the people he loved most, his children, on February 20, 2025, in Victoria, Texas.

Rickie served honorably in the United States Army with service in Vietnam.

Most of his career was dedicated to truck driving, beginning with Werner Enterprises and finishing this chapter of his life hauling crude oil until embracing early retirement. This allowed him to indulge in his true passions—enjoying time spent with family and friends and caring for his many animals.

Survived by his loving family, Rickie is remembered by his sons, Eric Osburn (Eli) and Rickie Osburn, Jr. (Kristi), a daughter, Tiffany Osburn (Geoff), stepson, David Kalisek, and his cherished granddaughter, Everly Osburn. He is also survived by his brother, Maxey Osburn (Veretta), sister, Dorcas Osburn, sister-in-law, Annette Osburn, and stepmother, Shirley Osburn. Rickie leaves behind several nieces and nephews, many friends in the Moulton community, and his beloved dog, Willie.

Rickie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Benny Osburn.

He is missed and loved, but will remain a faithful memory to those who valued his companionship, humor, and spirit.
