Rose M. Kristek, age 79, of West Point, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Rose was born July 16, 1941 in Moulton, Texas to Irene (Kubenka) Simper and Rudy Simper, Sr. Rose is survived by daughter Melissa Pavlicek (Edgar) of West Point, Texas; brothers L.A. Simper (Shannon) of Moulton, Texas and Daryl Simper (Evelia) of Gonzales, Texas; sisters Carol Marko (Victor) of LaGrange, Texas, Dolly Boehm (Martin) of Shiner, Texas and Donna Patek (Joey) of Rockport, Texas; sister-in-law Charlene Simper of Moulton, Texas; brother-in-law Wimpy Kristek (Joann) of Hallettsville, Texas; grandsons Chase Pavlicek (Jana) and Chans Pavlicek, great grandchildren Stetson Pavlicek and Kara Pavlicek; numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Marvin A. Kristek; father Rudy Simper, Sr. and mother Irene (Kubenka) Simper; brother Rudy Simper, Jr. and brother John Simper. A visitation for Rose will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 9:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton, Texas with a rosary recited at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM, officiated by Father Gabriel Maison. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Moulton, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Victor Marko, Marty Boehm, Martin Boehm, Joey Patek, Randy Kristek and Jeff Reese.
