Rosie Koudelka, age 103, of Moulton, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Rosie was born January 2, 1918 to parents, Frank and Hermina Barta Kubenka. A lifelong resident of Moulton, Rosie was a homemaker, and also a member of the alter society at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moulton, officiated by Father Gabriel Maison, with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Moulton. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton. Rosie was preceded in death by her loving husband Eddie Koudelka, her parents, Frank and Hermina Barta Kubenka, sisters, Irene Simper, and Helen Ulman, brothers, Johnnie Kubenka, Ed Kubenka, and Frankie Kubenka, and her son-in-law, Ernest Kubenka. Rosie is survived by her daughter, Gladys Kubenka of Moulton, sons, Harvey Koudelka and his wife Linda of Stafford, TX., and Clarence Koudelka and his wife Kristen of Katy, TX., grandchildren, Sheila Perez of Moulton, Sidney Kubenka of Moulton, Tiffany Peacock and her husband Jeff of Fairport, NY., Todd Koudelka and his wife Lee of Richmond, TX., Craig Koudelka and his wife Megan of Mansfield, TX., and Krystal Mejia of Baton Rouge, LA., great grandchildren, Dominic Perez and his wife Iliana of San Marcos, TX., Ian Perez of Austin, Jace Peacock, and Natalie Peacock both of Fairport, NY., Rhett Koudelka, Corbin Koudelka, and Lainey Koudelka all of Richmond, TX., Micaela Koudelka, and Campbell Koudelka both of Mansfield, TX., and her one great-great grandchild, Manny Perez of San Marcos, TX. Pallbearers will be Sidney Kubenka, Todd Koudelka, Craig Koudelka, Dominic Perez, Keegan Kubenka, and Jeff Peacock. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great-great grandchild. Rosie "Momo" will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
