Roy E. Star, age 63, of Cistern, Tx, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Joel W. and Karen Lee Baumgartner. Roy is survived by his mother Karen Lee Perkins of Canyon Lake, Texas, one brother, Rev. Mark Baumgartner (Kelly), of Canyon Lake, Texas, two sisters, Ruth Ann Daigneault (Henry), and Rebecca Wyatt (fiancé, Greg), both of San Antonio, Texas, one niece, Sarah Baumgartner, and two nephews, Tony Picciolo and Rev. Matthew Baumgartner (Melanie), great niece, Faith Baumgartner, and great nephew, John Mark Baumgartner. Roy was preceded in death by brother Donn Baumgartner.
