Theresa Valents

Mrs. Theresa Marie Selzer age 98 of Moulton passed away December 18, 2014. Theresa was born on July 24, 1916 in Shiner to the late Albert Valenta and Marie Seifert Valenta. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Altar Society, SPJST and loved playing domino's at the nursing home. Survivors: 1 son - Larry Selzer and wife Carol of Moulton , 1 daughter-in-law-Rose Selzer of Moulton , 6 grand-children and 11 great-grand-children. Theresa is preceded in death by husband-Louis in 1993, 2 sons-Louis Selzer Jr. in 1952 and Gene Selzer in 2010, 1 brother and 1 sister. Serving as pallbearers are Gene L. Selzer, Steven Spurlin, Trevor Spurlin, Steven Seifert, Larry Jo Berckenhoff and Anthony Maresh. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Sunday, December 21, 2014 with a rosary being recited at 6:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10:00 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
