Veronica Frebert

Veronica Frebert Robbins passed away on January 4, 2012 at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Flatonia, TX. She was born on February 23, 1921 in Cistern, TX to Charles and Albina Mares Frebert. She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Robbins, brothers Joe and Charlie Frebert, and one sister, Agnes Kalinec. She is survived by her son Michael Robbins and wife Jennifer of Kountze, TX., sister Rosie Boehnke of Cistern, TX; grandchildren Zachary Robbins and wife Allison of Beaumont, TX, and Jocelyn Robbins of Kountze, TX. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Smith Funeral Chapel in Flatonia. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern with Father Joe Hybner officiating. Burial will follow at the Cistern Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 470 Monroe, Kountze, TX 77625 or the Muldoon Volunteer Fire Department, PO BOX 133, Muldoon, Texas 78949.
