Virginia Bou

Virginia Marie Rose Bou Cao (1937-2014) Virginia Cao passed away on April 16 at the age of 77. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Juan de la Cruz and Sarah Alice (Wise) Bou on March 31, 1937. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty, and brother Juan. Virginia is survived by her husband of fifty years, Manuel Cao; daughter Sally Cao McConnell and husband Rickey Franks of Austin; daughter Lucia Cao, husband Jonathan Kyle Spurlock, and granddaughter Isabela Cao-Spurlock of Austin; sister Angeline Bou Akgun of Austin; sister Nancy Bou of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sister Zoe Bou and husband Pablo Ortiz of Margate, Florida; brother Manuel Bou of Huntsville, Alabama; and brother William Bou of Queens, New York. All funeral-related activities will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 404 Bobkat Dr., Moulton, Texas 77975. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning, April 17, and runs throughout the day. The following morning, Friday, April 18, Praying of the Rosary commences at 9:30 a.m. with funeral services immediately afterward at 10:00 a.m., Father Gabriel Maison, officiant. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Moulton. Pallbearers are Gregory Holub, Rickey Franks, Jonathan Kyle Spurlock, Phil Pensabene, Pablo Ortiz, and Juan Barajas.
