Virginia Henry, age 71 passed away on Saturday September 29, 2018 in Gonzales, Texas. Virginia was born October 2, 1946 in Gonzales, Texas to Pedro and Aurelia Castro Gutierrez. Virginia is survived by her son John Zapata and wife Jill of Waelder, daughters Rachel Hefley and husband Tim of Lampasas, Margie Zapata of Waelder, and Monica Benavides and husband Rene of Houston, brother Eloy Gutierrez of La Grange, sister Josephine Luna of Waelder, ten grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband James Henry, father Pedro Gutierrez and mother Aurelia Castro Gutierrez, and six brothers, and three sisters. Family will begin receiving visitors at 1:30 PM Saturday October 13, 2018 with a Memorial Service following at 2:00pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
