Mrs. Vlasta H. Pavlicek of Moulton passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the age of 90. Mrs. Pavlicek was born March 12, 1920 in Hallettsville to the late Anton and Mary (Mikush) Rehak Sr. Mrs. Pavlicek was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, VFW and American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Pavlicek is survived by one son David Pavlicek wife Carole of Eagle Lake, Four daughters; Myrtle Hunter husband Monte of Eagle Lake, JoAnn Welfl husband Fred Jr. of Houston, Kathy Dornak husband Ivan of Manor and Lorrie Janecek husband Mike of Moulton. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grand-daughter. Mrs. Pavlicek is preceded in death by parents, husband Herbert Pavlicek (December 1988), 5 brothers, 6 sisters, 2 sons; Harvey and Edward Pavlicek, Daughter-in-law; Annette Pavlicek, and 1 great grandson; Noah Matthew Hunter. Visitation started at 5:30 pm Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. A Rosary was recited at 6:00 pm Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. Funeral Services were held 10:00 am Friday, November 26, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, with Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Moulton. Pallbearers were Glenn Pavlicek, Bradley Pavlicek, Bryan Pavlicek, Dennis Pavlicek, Thomas Pavlicek, Daryl Pavlicek, Arnold Pavlicek, Shane Dornak, Brandon Janecek, Eric Welfl, Curtis Hunter, and Jeff Hunter.
