Willie F. Pavlas age 88 of Moulton, Texas passed away September 7, 2015. Willie was born on November 17, 1926 in Moulton to the late Willie J Pavlas and Anna Bohuslav Pavlas. He was member of the St. Rose and the St. Joseph Catholic Churches, Army veteran of WW II, American Legion, the Knights of Columbus and the Polka Lovers Club of America. Willie loved all the things "CZECH" - polka music, dancing, food, and travel. He was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his wife Jeannette Schumann Pavlas in 1997, brother-George Pavlas and sister-Martha Pavlicek. Willie is survived by son-William Pavlas and wife Michele of Missouri City, Texas, daughter-Sheryl Harris and husband Wellie of Richmond, Texas, 4 grand-children and 5 great-grand-children, companion and dancing partner Irene Bucek of Schulenburg and sister-in-law-Vlasta Pavlas and Lanelle Hudson both of Moulton,Texas Visitation will start at 12 noon on Thursday, September 10, 2015 followed by a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm by Father Tim Kosler at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 11, 2015 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
