Bonita "Bonnie" Shanks

Bonita "Bonnie" Shanks, 85, beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on May 23, 2022. She entered this world on September 19, 1936 in Jackson, MN, born to Swen and Kathleen Peterson.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and husband; Monte Shanks.

Bonnie is survived by her sons Michael Shanks (Virginia); Timothy P. Shanks; Paul Shanks (Dawn); and Brian Shanks (Wendy); daughters Pat Zidek; and Cheri Guyn (James); Seventeen grandchildren; Eight great-grandchildren; brothers Julian Petersen; and Frank Petersen.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales. Tx.
