Dorothy Zofie Vinklarek, age 88 of Cistern passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022. Dorothy was born on June 18, 1933 in Cistern, TX to Zofie Mares Vinklarek and Charlie Vinklarek. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her brother Eugene Vinklarek and wife Grace, sister Cora Ann Mueth, sister-in-law Winifred Vinklarek and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A visitation for Dorothy will begin at 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 2, 2022 followed by Rosary at 7:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia, TX. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern, TX, officiated by Father Eddie Winkler. Burial will follow at Sts.
