Margaret "Maggie" (Provazek) Kubicek

Margaret "Maggie" Kubicek, 83, of Moulton, TX passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 2, 2023.  She was born on April 10, 1940, in Moulton, to John and Willie Mae Provazek.

Maggie married Frankie "Poncho" Kubicek on April 30, 1960, in Shiner Texas. The couple were blessed with 2 children: Rosalie and Sharon.

Maggie was a lifelong member of SPJST Lodge #184, American Legion Auxiliary #392, Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, & St. Joseph Catholic Church of Moulton         

Maggie loved to travel, was an avid gambler, and loved to play bingo. But foremost she lived for her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Maggie is survived by daughter Sharon Kram (Perry) of Moulton; son-in-law Tim Koncaba of Moulton; brothers Gene Provazek (Sandra) & Henry Provazek of Houston.  Grandchildren Brittania Darilek (Wyatt), Kyle Koncaba (Ann), and Courtney of Moulton; Trey Kram (Brigitte) of Cuero; Preston Koncaba (Donna) of Shiner; Great grandchildren Kamryn Darilek, Talan Darilek, Abram Kram, Ryan Koncaba, Kason Koncaba, Eli Kram, Owen Koncaba, and Kylie Koncaba.

Maggie is preceded in death by her husband Frankie "Poncho" Kubicek, daughter Rosalie Koncaba, brother Johnny Provazek and sister Irene Shelley.

A Memorial Mass for Maggie will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, with Father Gabriel Maison officiating.               

Rosary: Friday, May 12, 2023 at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton.

Private Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Moulton, TX.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moulton Volunteer Fire Department or donor’s choice.
